About Cultural Exchanges

Cultural Exchanges is a purpose-driven organization based in India, with its headquarters in Jaipur, Rajasthan—a land where history, art, and living traditions breathe together.

We create meaningful volunteer and cultural immersion experiences that go beyond travel. Our programs invite individuals from around the world to live, learn, and serve within small villages and close-knit communities across India.

Participants engage directly with local life—teaching their language to young, eager students, painting and practicing art, and sharing creative expression with children, artisans, and families. You will take part in local festivals, rituals, and holidays, experiencing culture not as a spectator, but as a welcomed guest.

Cultural Exchanges also offers opportunities to explore India’s most renowned cultural and World Heritage cities and sites, weaving together rural simplicity with historic grandeur. A special emphasis is placed on artistic and cultural exchange, where volunteers connect with traditional artisans, learn indigenous crafts, and share their own cultural stories and creative skills.

At the heart of Cultural Exchanges is a simple belief: true understanding grows when people live together, create together, and learn from one another.

Arathi Nair

Travel program planning & Execution Lead

Coordinates the planning and on-ground execution of travel-based programmes. Her role includes travel operations, itinerary design, participant coordination, and event facilitation to ensure smooth and meaningful experiences for all involved. With attention to detail and a collaborative approach, she supports exposure visits and community engagement journeys connected with partner initiatives such as Pehchaan – The Street School. Her work helps translate programme ideas into well-organized, safe, and enriching learning experiences.

Coordinates travel, accommodation and operational support for Cultural Exchanges programs, ensuring safe and well-organised execution of educational and cultural initiatives. With over a decade of experience in corporate travel and administrative management, he brings structured organisation and reliability to student immersion programs, workshops and exchange initiatives. His work includes vendor coordination, itinerary planning, documentation and participant support, allowing educators and facilitators to focus fully on learning and engagement.
